Positions:

The Gong Lab at the University of Florida (UF) currently has two postdoctoral openings for individuals interested in working on diffusion models-based medical image analysis and reconstruction. The research projects focus on leveraging diffusion models-based techniques to enhance the diagnosis and progression tracking of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and cancer. These projects involve collaborations with esteemed researchers and clinicians from Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Aging Brain Study, and MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Requirements:

  • Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics, neuroscience, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, programming, and communication skills are essential.
  • Prior research experience in medical image analysis is desirable.
  • Prior experience in machine learning or deep learning, along with proficiency in Pytorch/TensorFlow programming, is desirable.
  • Candidates should demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
