Modeling and Optimization of imaging Systems

ur lab is working on advanced system modeling for PET systems by considering physical degradations from different aspects. We are also working on Monte Carlo simulations to design, evaluate and optimize different PET image geometries. The two published works on this topic have been chosen as Featured articles in IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging and Physics in Medicine and Biology.
