Welcome to Gong Lab Homepage

  • Our research includes medical imaging, deep learning, and data science. The research goal is to combine deep learning, biomedical imaging, and data science to further improve the diagnosis and treatment monitoring of various diseases, such as cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. To achieve this, our current research focuses on medical physics-informed deep learning to increase prediction robustness, multi-modality information integration for precision medicine, and clinical task-driven deep learning to enhance clinical translation. Our lab is affliated with UF BME. We have collaborations with Investigators at UF, MGH, Harvard Aging Brain Study, UCSF, UC Davis, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Our research is supported by NIA, NIBIB, Canon, and start-up fund from UF.
